Emotions run high as NEEVE bring the Monochrome Tour to Vienna
On March 29th, the Hamburg-based indie-pop band, NEEVE lit up Vienna’s B72 with a show that proved just how powerful a small venue concert can be.
Touring in support of their Monochrome Tour, the band delivered an electric, emotionally-charged set that highlighted their growth, both as musicians and as performers unafraid to speak about mental health and vulnerability.
From the very first beat of opening track, Blackout, the energy was palpable. B72, though intimate in size, felt like it could barely contain the crowd’s excitement. Fans instantly connected with the band’s infectious presence and NEEVE wasted no time in returning that energy. The members frequently interacted with the audience between songs. smiling, sharing stories and creating a space that felt warm and genuinely inclusive.
The setlist was a perfect blend of the band’s signature sound and their evolving identity. Songs like Palm of My Hand, Piece of Art and Why Not Myself? carried emotional weight, while fan-favorites Where I Wanna Be Found and You & Me had the entire room singing along in unison, turning the night into a communal celebration.
One of the most unforgettable moments of the night came when frontman Felix stepped away from the mic to play drums for a song - a move that surprised and impressed the crowd. It added a spontaneous, deeply personal layer to the performance that truly showcased the band’s versatility and passion.
After the show, the connection didn’t end. The band came out to meet fans, chat and take photos - a gesture that didn't go unnoticed. Whether it was a brief hello or a heartfelt conversation, every interaction felt meaningful. Felix, in particular, took the time to engage with fans in a way that reflected the same honesty and kindness present in NEEVE’s music.
NEEVE’s performance in Vienna was more than just a concert - it was a heartfelt night full of vulnerability, joy and mutual appreciation between band and audience. If this show was any indication, NEEVE is a band that doesn’t just perform for a crowd, they share something with them.
