Your Guide to Live at Leeds: In the City 2025

This Saturday (November 15th), Live at Leeds: In the City will welcome music-lovers from across the country for a jam-packed day of exciting acts and new music to discover.

With performances planned at venues across the city centre, we’ve created an itinerary for festival-goers who don’t want to miss out on seeing the very best upcoming acts this year.

The day will start with Marti Perramon at Leeds Beckett Student Union 2, playing from 12:15 to 12:45. As a solo artist, his music leans toward colourful alt-pop with warm production and bright melodies. It’s a perfect way to start the day gently and get into the festival mood without diving straight into the chaos.

In the afternoon, the first real clash arrives. Roscoe Roscoe is set to play the Brudenell Social Club main room from 15:00 to 15:30, delivering dreamy psych textures and hazy rhythms that gradually build into something larger than expected. At the same time, Girl Group will perform at Belgrave Music Hall with fast moving indie-pop and a chaotic, exciting energy. Their set is sure to be unpredictable, messy in the best way, and a lot of fun to watch.

Later, Radio Free Alice will take the stage at Leeds Beckett Student Union from 16:00 to 16:45. Their music has a sharp edge, blending angular indie with spoken vocals and sudden shifts that keep the room alert. Right after, KEO play from 17:15 to 18:00. Their alternative rock sound combines soaring vocals with dramatic builds that work brilliantly live, and having just finished a UK tour, they’ve already announced another for February 2026 - tickets to which can be found here.

Moving into the evening, Steelers are scheduled to play from 19:00 to 19:30 at The Lending Room. Their songs hit hard with a post-punk energy that feels intense in a smaller room. At the same time, Scustin perform at Santiagos. Their lyrics are unpredictable and often surreal, including the line, “we’re drinking cans in a field with Matt Damon.” The band treat their sets almost like theatre, moving between songs, stories and odd little moments that pull the whole room in. It never feels routine, and that’s what makes their shows so entertaining.

Soon after, Fuzz Lightyear will take over Belgrave Music Hall from 20:00 to 20:30, likely one of the loudest and most intense sets of the day. Arkayla follow in the Brudenell Social Club Community Room from 20:30 to 21:00. The Manchester band bring punchy indie-rock with shifts between heavy sections and singalong moments. Their shows are energetic and full of life, making this slot feel like a safe bet for a strong performance.

M60 will be next in the Brudenell main room from 22:00 to 22:30. Their music captures the upbeat energy of northern indie, fast moving and loose in a way that encourages audience participation. Flipturn will perform soon after in the Brudenell Community Room from 22:30 to 23:15. Their emotional, warm indie sound feels immersive, and they are likely to draw one of the biggest crowds of the night.

Finally, Westside Cowboy close the day at Belgrave Music Hall from 23:00 to 23:45. The Manchester band blend lo-fi indie, slacker rock and roots influences into a high energy set. Their “Britainicana” sound brings fuzzy guitars, raw vocals and live spontaneity, the perfect way to end the night.

We hope you have an amazing time discovering new music, catching your favourite acts live and enjoying everything Live at Leeds: In the City has to offer.
